How Prosperity Gaming Refurbishes and Certifies Every Machine
Most refurbished-machine sellers are resellers — they buy stock from route operators or auctions, do a cosmetic pass, and list it. ArcadeDeals works differently: we're a direct-sales spinoff of Prosperity Gaming's own refurbished machine inventory. Every cabinet we list has been through the same standards our own floor operations team applies to machines earning revenue on our own casino floors, before it's ever offered for sale.
Why that difference matters
When the same team that has to keep a machine running on a live, monitored floor is also the team preparing it for resale, the incentive to cut corners disappears — a machine that fails after sale reflects on the same reputation as one that fails on our own floor. That's the practical reason every listing goes through the identical 40-point inspection regardless of brand, cabinet age, or price point.
The four inspection groups
Mechanical
Reel motor and stepper timing, bill validator calibration, ticket printer alignment and cutter test, coin hopper function where fitted, door locks and bezel hardware, button deck responsiveness, cooling fan and vent clearance, cable strain-relief, chassis mounting points, and a full mechanical dry-run of 500-plus cycles before anything is signed off.
Electrical
Power supply load testing, earth continuity and insulation resistance checks, backup battery / CMOS verification, monitor and backlight inspection, speaker and audio board testing, harness connectors reseated, surge protection verification, a 24-hour-plus burn-in run, firmware/EPROM version checks, and a full electrical safety compliance pass.
Cosmetic
Cabinet panel repaint or touch-up where needed, topper and marquee lighting checks, glass and screen protector replacement, vinyl graphics inspection, button deck and bezel cleaning, a full interior deep clean, hardware polish on brass and chrome trim, base and stand alignment, cable routing tidy-up, and final sign-off photography.
Compliance & Handover
Jurisdiction-appropriate software confirmation, meter reset and audit log clearing, serial number and asset tag logging, warranty documentation, delivery packaging and transit protection, a pre-delivery final power test, an installation checklist, a named post-delivery support contact, and a 30-day parts warranty activated on handover.
Every item above is listed in detail — brand-by-brand, price-point-by-price-point — on the full inspection standard page.

In practice: no cabinet reaches our catalog without a documented pass through all four groups, every listing carries a 30-day parts warranty from handover, and if a machine has a genuine fault we'd rather find it on our bench than have you find it on your floor. That's a meaningfully different starting point to buying from a marketplace where inspection standards vary listing to listing — see our buyer's checklist for what to ask any seller who isn't us.
Frequently asked questions
Is ArcadeDeals the same company as Prosperity Gaming?
ArcadeDeals is a direct-sales spinoff of Prosperity Gaming's own refurbished machine inventory and inspection process — the same standards applied to machines on our live casino floors are applied to every machine we sell.
How long does the 40-point inspection take per machine?
It varies by cabinet condition, but the process includes a mechanical dry-run of 500+ cycles and an electrical burn-in of 24 hours or more, so it's measured in days, not minutes, per unit.
What warranty comes with a refurbished machine from ArcadeDeals?
Every listing includes a 30-day parts warranty, activated at handover, as part of the standard inspection and delivery process.
